Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Argoneers ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through this website and our operational messaging program. Each of our brands' online stores has its own privacy policy, which applies to shoppers of that store.
Information we collect
- Contact information you send us, such as your name, email address and the content of your message when you write to us.
- Mobile phone numbers of team members who opt in to receive operational alerts by WhatsApp or text message, together with the record of that consent and of opt-outs.
- Message delivery data, such as the date, time and delivery status of each alert, provided by our messaging providers.
- Basic technical data that web servers record automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To answer your messages and run our business.
- To send opted-in team members the operational alerts they asked for, such as new orders and low inventory.
- To keep our services secure and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing their services to us:
- Twilio and Meta (WhatsApp), to deliver WhatsApp and text messages.
- Google Cloud, which hosts our systems and email.
- Shopify, which runs our brands' online stores.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Phone numbers are removed from our alert lists when a team member opts out or leaves the team; we keep a record of the opt-out so that no further messages are sent.
Your choices and rights
- Reply STOP to any text message, or ask us, to stop receiving alerts. Reply HELP for help.
- You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by writing to argo@argoneers.com. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will not discriminate against you for using them.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and restricted access to production systems to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website and our messaging program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
